Noah and Tonsils...

After having step for like the 5th time this year.  The last time it was twice in one month, one right after the other.  Tonsils so big and swollen he was having a hard time breathing.  The Dr. decided we needed to see the ENT.  So we did and had a chat and decided Noah needed his Tonsils out.  So on the  29th of Jan.  We were at the hospital at 6:45 a.m. so we wouldn't be late for 7a.m. apt.
The not so fun part of this whole thing, he will be out of school for a very long time.
Jan. 29th - Feb. 13th!!
He gets to go back to school on Valentines day.  So that should be fun for him.  He is bored!!  He watches a lot of movies and drinks a LOT of water and juice.  He can only eat soft food and has had lots of popsicles and lots of cold stuff.  So far he is doing okay.  I guess we haven't really gotten to the it hurts a ton part of this whole adventure.  So I am just waiting and holding onto the more powerful medicine the Dr. gave us.  For now it is Motrin and Tylenol.
The other weird thing about this whole thing is that Noah is not talking like AT ALL.  Not unless I can't guess what he needs or wants.  For Noah that is so very strange.  We are doing lots of homework so that he won't be behind when he gets back.
Now a few pictures.

After he was all ready, and just before he went back!!  The smile didn't last all that long.

All done and trying to wake up all the way.  His favorite part was how they dressed up his friend.  He also liked the popsicle smoothies the nurses gave him.  They also taught me how to make them and he ate a lot of those the first few days.  Now I need to buy more for when his throat hurts more!!

Like I said he has been bored and really lonely.  So Dad and Rae went and watched a movie with him so he wouldn't be so lonely.  If he can sit still and rest he can sit out with the rest of us.  Noah being well Noah that is really hard and so he ends up in his room a lot.  Watching movies and resting, so that he get back to being himself soon.
