Fun at the Farm

I must say that we have some of the coolest friends!!! Matt and Janette Roach have a farm and have said that we need to bring the boys down for a while now. Well today they (Camren and Noah) got their wish. We all got to go to the farm and feed the baby cow. They have a calf that is being bottle fed and Noah got to feed it. Camren wouldn't for some reason, weird kid. They had so much fun!!! They go to ride in the tractor and feed all the cows and help get a few little calf's back in the yard. This was a little boys heaven. They were dirty, hungry, cold and tired by the time we left. They would so do it again!!!

This is mom taking pictures while we were waiting for Matt and Janette. We got there before they did, no matter the boys had fun playing in the mud!!!
Camren letting me take his picture while we waited....they had coats on by the time we left!!! When the sun went down it was COLD!!!

Noah playing in the mud, he really was in heaven!!!

He was so excited to feed that calf, can you tell. We have been hearing about Matt and the farm all week. Noah kept telling us that Saturday was to far away. He ran all the way to were he feed the calf!!! So excited and I am sure he won't forget it!!

The cute little calf himself!!!

Waiting for more, he knew that Noah had that bottle and he wanted more so Noah was able to pet him on the nose!! He was really trying to eat his sweater!!

Camren and Noah checking out the bigger cows, they thought they were pretty cool too!!!

They both spent quite a bit of time where Noah is. This little calf was born just the other day and early, so they have he and his mom in their own little space. Matt's dad got him up to eat and Camren and Noah just kept asking question after question. Thanks to Matt and everyone for answering all those questions!!! Noah especially can talk anyone to death!!

Noah wanted to feed the cows, the cows didn't want Noah to feed them!!! Poor kid every time he would try to be quite and move slow toward them they would back up as fast as they could. Janette was trying to help him out!!!

Noah has no fear, this is him in a bobcat bucket up as high as it would go. By himself!!! I know I am in trouble!!!

This is Janette, Noah and Camren....Matt is driving. Taking Camren and Noah for a ride. They did the up really high too, with all of them. Camren didn't like it at all, he wanted down and he wanted down now. In fact after Noah did up high all by himself Camren almost wouldn't get back in because he thought Matt was going to put it up high again.

Matt, Camren and Noah off to feed the rest of the cows. In the tractor!! My boys were in little boy heaven, it wasn't just across the road. They are about a mile or more away I think, they got to ride the whole way there!!! Matt even let the boys drive!!! Oh yes that was the first thing they told us when they got out!!! They were in heaven, Camren really liked that!!!

I think you can tell from our farm experience who out of the two is more outgoing and adventurous!!! Camren was happy to just look and walk around a bit. Noah wanted to be touching and feeding and doing everything they would let him!!! At the end of the day I can say I did have two very happy little boys who wanted to spend more time with Matt and Janette!!! We were cold and ready to go home and eat some warm soup. If you are wondering the baby did great, she slept the whole time snuggled in her snow suit next to daddy staying warm. Pretty soon she will be running around with the boys getting muddy and having a grand old time!!
